This 7-Days Tanzania Big Five Safari is designed to showcase the country’s most iconic wildlife destinations. Your journey begins on arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, with a warm welcome and transfer to Moshi or Arusha, set against the scenic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. From here, travel to the legendary Serengeti National Park, home to vast open plains, abundant wildlife, and the famous Great Wildebeest Migration. Tour Details
Day 1: Arrival – Moshi / Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly met by our safari representative and transferred to Moshi or Arusha. Enjoy a scenic drive with chances of spotting Mount Kilimanjaro rising above the clouds on clear days. Once at your lodge or hotel, settle in and relax after your international journey. The remainder of the day is at leisure, allowing you to rest, enjoy the surroundings, or prepare for your safari adventure.

Day 2: Arusha – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, depart Arusha for the world-renowned Serengeti National Park, enjoying beautiful landscapes along the way. Arrive in time for an en-route game drive, spotting wildlife across the vast plains. The Serengeti is home to lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and the Great Wildebeest Migration depending on the season. In the evening, arrive at your safari camp and experience the magic of sleeping in the heart of the African wilderness.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park
Spend the full day exploring the endless plains of Serengeti on morning and afternoon game drives. Large herds of wildebeest and zebras roam freely, followed closely by predators such as lions and hyenas. Enjoy picnic lunches in the bush or meals back at camp. As the sun sets, return to camp for dinner and a relaxing evening under the African stars.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park
Another full day is dedicated to wildlife viewing in Serengeti. Early morning and late afternoon game drives provide excellent chances to spot elusive animals when they are most active. Your guide will tailor the drives based on wildlife movements and seasonal highlights. Enjoy breathtaking scenery, open savannahs, and unforgettable wildlife encounters. Between game drives, relax at camp and enjoy the tranquillity of the wilderness.

Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Start with an early morning game drive to spot big cats before the heat of the day. After breakfast, depart Serengeti and travel toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, enjoy scenic views of rolling hills and highland landscapes. Arrive at your lodge near the crater rim in the late afternoon. The Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact caldera, offers breathtaking views and exceptional wildlife density.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a memorable game drive. Enjoy a picnic lunch by a scenic hippo pool on the crater floor. In the afternoon, ascend the crater and drive back to Moshi or Arusha, arriving in the evening.
