Day 1: Airport Pickup | Moshi
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our professional driver and transferred to your hotel in Moshi town. This day is designed for rest and preparation after your journey. In the evening, you will meet your experienced Kilimanjaro Mountain guide for a detailed briefing about the climb, safety procedures, and equipment check. You will have free time to relax, explore Moshi, or organize your gear for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Marangu Gate | Mandara Huts
After an early breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred to Marangu Gate to complete park registration formalities. Your trek starts through lush rainforest trails rich with wildlife and towering trees. The gentle ascent makes this day ideal for acclimatization. You may take a short detour to Maundi Crater for beautiful views of Kilimanjaro and the Kenyan plains. Upon arrival at Mandara Huts, you will enjoy a hot meal and rest.

Day 3: Mandara Huts | Horombo Huts
Today’s hike takes you out of the rainforest and into the open moorland zone. The trail gradually climbs, offering impressive views of Mawenzi and Kibo peaks on clear days. The changing vegetation and cooler air signal increasing altitude. You will walk at a steady pace, with regular breaks for rest and hydration. Upon reaching Horombo Huts, you can relax and enjoy the surrounding scenery while preparing for the next ascent.

Day 4: Horombo Huts | Kibo Huts
After breakfast, you will continue toward the alpine desert as you cross the saddle between Mawenzi and Kibo peaks. The landscape becomes more rugged and barren, offering a unique high-altitude experience. This day is crucial for acclimatization, so the pace remains slow and steady. Upon arrival at Kibo Huts, you will have an early dinner and rest. Your guide will brief you thoroughly for the midnight summit attempt.

Day 5: Kibo Huts | Summit | Horombo Huts
You will begin your summit ascent shortly before midnight, trekking under the stars toward Gillman’s Point. This is the most challenging part of the climb due to altitude and cold temperatures. From the crater rim, you will continue to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. After celebrating and taking photos, you will descend back to Kibo Huts for a short rest, then continue to Horombo Huts for an overnight recovery.

Day 6: Horombo Huts | Marangu Gate | Moshi
After breakfast, you will begin your final descent through the scenic cloud forest toward Marangu Gate. Along the way, you will enjoy your last views of Kilimanjaro’s landscapes. At the gate, you will sign out and receive your summit certificates. A traditional tipping ceremony will be held to thank your dedicated mountain crew. You will then be transferred back to Moshi town or the airport, marking the end of an unforgettable adventure.
